PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

In 2021, CGBio has yet reached another milestone in launching its first calcium filler, Facetem, expanding its entire filler range. Its main ingredient, Calcium Hydroxyapatite (CaHA), is a mineral usually found in bone and teeth, making it highly biocompatible once injected into the human body. It is primarily used in stimulating collagen production, helping to restore damaged skin barrier and as a result improves the skin elasticity and skin tone. Technically it is also called the “collagen stimulator” by its patrons. Along with its spectacular advantages that has captured numerous potential buyers, it also comes with an ergonomical finger grip syringe which supports the index and middle fingers, having a 360-degree rotation feature and smooth injection force, enhancing the convenience for the practitioner, and guaranteeing the safety and comfort of the patient.

FORMULATION

Facetem Dermal Fillers contain a balanced mixture of a polymer gel carrier (70%) and calcium hydroxyapatite (30%). The polymer gel often is a combination of sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, glycerin and water. Consequently, Facetem produces a two-phase effect where the polymer gel matrix initiates immediate filling and on the other hand, CaHA stimulates long-term collagen production. 

It is produced in a noncalorific paste form that is degraded and absorbed in the human body after some time. The CaHA microspheres fill out the recessed skin tissue as a graft/prosthesis biomaterial. Facetem’s unique molecular structure is due to the patented FACETEM LATTICE Pore Technology where lattice porous structure of microparticles are produced ensuring a larger volume and long-lasting filling effect.

DURATION OF EFFECT

Facetem Dermal Filler’s microsphere technology is what led to its lattice-pore structure ensuring excellent volumetric effects, making Facetem more durable and stable for 1 ½ – 2 years. To maintain the efficiency of the dermal filler and achieve high satisfaction rate, repeated treatment sessions may be performed. 

 

PACKAGING & SPECIFICATIONS

Packaging: 0.8mL x 2 pre-filled syringe and 1.5mL x 1 pre-filled syringe

Composition: CaHA 30%, NaCMS (polymer gel matrix) 70%

Microsphere size: 25 – 45 µm

Dosage: When injected into the nasolabial folds, up to 1.3mL can be injected using a 27G needle. A 1mL anesthetic, lidocaine can be administered before Facetem to reduce the pain.

Injection Depth: Deep dermal layer 

Needle size: 25G-27G

Duration of effect: 12-36 months

Storage: Store the product at room temperature (2°C to 25°C). Do not freeze or heat the product. Keep away from direct sunlight. Do not put any force pressure on the product.
