LIZTOX BOTULINUM TOXIN

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Liztox Botulinum Toxin contains 200 units of Clostridium Botulinum Toxin Type A and is classified as a specialty and prescription medicine that is primarily for the temporary improvement of moderate to severe glabellar wrinkles and forehead lines. It works as a muscle relaxant that targets the corrugator muscle and procerus muscles of the face. As a result, it relaxes the contracted muscles that are often affected by repetitive facial expressions. It creates a smoother skin texture, void of lines, folds, and dynamic wrinkles for a more natural and youthful looking skin. It is produced by the South Korean company, Humedix Huons and is created with accuracy and precision to target frown lines and outer canthal (around the eyes) wrinkles. Liztox is characterized by a lyophilized white powder for injection in a colorless transparent vial. This product appearance signifies the highly purified Botulinum toxin present in the formulation of Liztox. Aside from correcting the lines and wrinkles, it can be used as a preventive care for early signs of aging. Overall, Liztox solution effectively corrects skin imperfections without side effects and minimal downtime.

PRODUCT COMPOSITION

Main ingredient: 200U of Clostridium botulinum toxin type A per vial

Other ingredients: 0.5mg Human Serum Albumin, 0.9mg Sodium chloride

DURATION OF EFFECT

The therapeutic effect of Liztox lasts for about 3 to 4 months, but the results may depend on the patient. 

 

PACKAGING AND SPECIFICATIONS

Packaging: LIZTOX is available in 200 units of powder for injection vial. It comes in a pack size of 1 vial.

Reconstitution: Dissolve LIZTOX with a sterile saline solution for injection preferably 0.9% NaCl solution. When dissolved, Liztox must appear colorless and transparent with no foreign substances visible. For 1 vial (200U), mix with 5mL of saline and carefully shake the solution.

Method of administration: Intramuscular injection

Recommended usage: The amount of Liztox recommended will depend on the target area. For frown lines, 0.1 mL is injected into five location points in each of the corrugator muscles and one in the procerus muscle, for a total of 20U. For wrinkles around the eyes, a dose of 4 units (0.1 mL) is injected into 3 areas per side of the outer flank of the orbicularis oculi muscle, for a total of 24U.

Treatment interval: Intervals between treatments should not be shorter than 3 months. 

Needle size: 29 – 30G

Storage: Store the product in a refrigerator (2°C – 8°C). After reconstitution, store Liztox for 24 hours at the refrigerator.
